Your Generous Gifts Further Our Mission

Every dollar given to Roseau Evangelical Covenant Church goes towards furthering our mission. Each generous gift helps support our Sunday School programs, youth programs and events, worship services, outreach events, staff compensation, building utilities, and so much more. Your gifts are tremendously important to keep our church running. We also strive to further the kingdom of God by giving to the Northwest Conference and Covenant Denomination, as well as supporting missionaries locally and around the globe.

Why We Give

As a church, we understand that it is our responsibility to give freely and joyfully to the Lord, for He has blessed us. We aim to further God's kingdom by giving our resources: time and finances, to reach people who need Jesus in their lives. Those resources allow us to support missionaries who are preaching the Gospel in unreached areas. They also allow us to show the love of Jesus to our neighbors, right here in our own community, through various outreach and volunteer events.

What is Tithing?

Tithing is the Bible's baseline for giving. To tithe, which means "tenth," is to give ten percent of your income to your local church. God is pleased with whomever gives with a joyful heart, even if it's less than ten percent. It is an act of worship, of praising God for all He has given us. It is also an act of submission and faith. We trust God to take care of us when we tithe and put Him first.
