Board of Trustees

Our Purpose

The purpose of the Board of Trustees is to provide a safe and welcoming environment by maintaining, upgrading and fixing the church building facilities and grounds as needed. The Board of Trustees is responsible for the upkeep of the church grounds by mowing, snow removal, weed and pest control. The Trustees also look after the building, including the HVAC system, water and sewage systems, and electrical systems. The Trustees are also stewards of the church's resources, monitoring and prioritizing projects that need to get done around the church.

Deacon Board

Our Purpose

The purpose of the Deacon Board is to serve the church and others, as well as to provide spiritual support for its staff and members. One of the primary functions of the Deacon Board is to bring the church and its needs before God in prayer. The Deacons host prayer meetings where all are welcome. In addition to the prayer meetings, the Deacons host various Bible studies and small groups throughout the year. The Deacons are also responsible for assisting the Senior Pastor in serving Communion and overseeing the fellowship time after each service.

The CF Board is responsible for choosing and implementing Sunday School curriculum that aligns with our church values and teaches children about God, Jesus, Holy Spirit, and other Biblical principles. In addition to regular Sunday School programming, the CF Board coordinates: the presentation of age-appropriate Bibles to the second graders, celebrations for the confirmation and graduation students, the Sunday School Christmas Program, and other various family activities.

Missions & Outreach board

Our Purpose

The purpose of the Missions & Outreach (M&O) Board is to bring the love of Jesus Christ to our local, national, and global communities through various outreach events, fundraisers, service events, as well as prayer and financial support to our missionary partners here, near, and far. The M&O Board works year round to plan events and service projects that bring our church family closer to God and each other while showing the love of Jesus to those who do not yet know Him.

Youth Ministry Director

Born in Minneapolis, MN, to Christian parents, I became a believer at a young age. I have served in Youth Ministry for many years: five years as a volunteer and one year as an intern. I earned a Bachelor's Degree in Ministry and a Master's Degree in Divinity (M. Div) from the University of Northwestern in St. Paul. My wife Marisa and I moved up to Roseau in August of 2021 as we felt God leading us here. I am excited to see all the things God has in store for me, my wife, and the ministry I have been called to lead.
