R&R Tent at the Fair

We are excited to announce that RECC will once again have an R&R Tent at the Roseau County Fair July 21-26. This amazing opportunity will allow us to share the love and hope of Jesus with thousands of people!
 
Our tent will offer:

• FREE Cold Water
• FREE Suckers
• A Clean, Convenient Changing Table
• A Private Place for Moms to Feed Their Babies
• A Coloring Table
• Kids’ Entertainment: Balloon Animals, Face Painting, and Costumed Characters
• Daily giveaways
• Chairs for folks to take a rest
• A Cell Phone Charging Station
• Information about our church and Christian literature

Many volunteers are needed to make this outreach a success:

Prayer Team 
Commit to praying every day from home for the fair tent ministry. Pray that our tent would be a beacon of light at the fair and that our tent workers will boldly share the hope and love of Jesus with everyone who enters the tent.

Set-Up Crew– Sunday, July 21- 2:00pm
Responsibilities include helping to set up the tent, securing the walls of the tent, setting up tables/chairs for the potluck on Monday, setting up trash cans, transporting & setting up water coolers, setting up charging station, setting up the display table and running extension cords.

Tear Down Crew – Friday, July 26- 8:00pm
See above (in reverse)

Daily Tent Opening Crew – July 24-26 – 11:00am
Responsibilities include removing the sides of the tent, taking the T.V.s out of the church van and reconnecting them in the church tent, making sure everything is plugged in, and emptying garbage cans.

Daily Tent Closing Crew – July 24-26 – 8:00am
Responsibilities include securing the walls of the tent, taking TVs to the church van, and emptying garbage cans. 

Tent Volunteers – Friday – 2:00-4:00pm, 4:00-6:00pm, 6:00-8:00pm
Responsibilities include greeting people who come to the tent, handing out suckers to attract attention, replacing water jugs as needed, wiping down the changing station as needed, and showing genuine Christian hospitality!
