Tony Fichter, chair of the Pastoral Search Committee, has announced that the committee has chosen Pastor Kecia Stroot to be the candidate for the full-time Children & Family Pastor position at our church. (She is currently serving as part-time Interim Children & Family Pastor.)
A congregational meeting has been scheduled for Sunday, February 26th right after the morning Worship Service for the sole purpose of voting on calling the Children & Family Pastor. In addition, two Candidate Sessions have been scheduled for people to meet with Pastor Kecia to ask any questions or just to get to know her better. Those two meetings are: Sunday, February 5th at 9am (during the Sunday School hour); and Sunday, February 19th at 6:30pm. Note: There will not be Adult Sunday School on February 5th but all other Sunday School activities will run as usual.
